Football FreeKick League

Football FreeKick League is a 3D soccer game where you play both the penalty kicker as well as the goalkeeper for your team. In other words, you not only have to score goals but also make the blocks and do the saves.

To kick the ball you've just got to swipe your finger on the screen: if you trace a curve you'll add spin to the ball, if you swipe faster you'll kick harder, etc. Controlling the goalkeeper is a bit different, though: you've got to tap to the left or right to move your goalie and block a shot.

In Football FreeKick League you'll find two different game modes: World Cup and League mode. Your aim in both modes is to win all your games, but naturally the format is different in each case. In the World Cup you've first got to make it through the four-team group stage and then you'll move on to the semi-finals.

Football FreeKick League is a really enjoyable soccer game that manages to add a point of originality to a highly saturated genre. There are lots of penalty shootout games out there, but very few where, after having scored, you can try to save your team by stopping shots with your goalie.
